I have a cold but no fever (temperature below 38 degrees Celsius). Should I see a doctor?

You suffer from cold symptoms and have a fever (temperature above 38 degree Celsius), feel sick and your head and body aches. Stay at home until your temperature has gone down to below 38 degrees Celsius. A high temperature can be reduced very well using pain killers containing paracetamol or drugs containing ibuprofen (if you don’t use blood thinners or have any serious conditions).
If your fever lasts for more than three days and you cough, you should see a doctor.

When do you need a doctor’s note? Normally from the third sick day if not otherwise indicated in your work contract.
