Aphthous Ulcers

These are small, burning blisters or sores in oral mucosa areas.
You can disinfect the mouth by regularly drinking sage tea or gargling with salt water. You may also apply gels on the sores, which are available at pharmacies without prescription.
If you suffer from recurring aphthous ulcers, you may have a vitamin B12, zinc, iron or folic acid deficiency.
